It is equipped with very strong permanent magnets based on rare earths, capable of reaching several times higher magnetic induction (magnetic force) in comparison with ferrite magnets. Main part of the magnetic separator is represented by magnetic sliding grates. We are reaching the magnetic induction value of up to 14,000 G!

Rotational magnetic separators

Rotational separators are designed for a separation of impurities from hardly permeable mixtures characterized by compromised bulk parameters and coarser material granularity. The component including magnetic pipes is installed on a shaft driven by an electromotor. During the separation, magnetic pipes are continuously rotating. It is, therefore, possible to change the rotation speed based on the separated material type and quantity.

Plate magnetic separators / chute magnets

Plate separators are designed for the separation of impurities from easily permeable mixtures with not good bulk parameters and a coarser material granularity. This kind of material would not pass through a magnetic grate fluently. Usually they are equipped with ferrite magnets. Their advantage consists in an adjustable roof to be pulled apart; the roof is routing material flow directly onto magnetic plates. Available also in the automatic version!

Magnetic testing rods

Magnetic testing rods serve to the analysis whether the material contains metal-magnetic impurities. They are equipped with very strong rare-earth magnets. Impurities may be removed by pulling the plastics handle; this way they fall off.

Magnetic plate to be situated above a conveyor serves to a separation of small quantities of metal magnetic impurities from easily permeable mixtures transported on conveyor belts. To keep its full functioning, the plate must be cleaned every day.

Magnetic drums are designed for the separation of metal, magnetic impurities from bulk mixtures (color metals, plastics granulated material, waste mixtures, coal). Magnetic drum benefit consists in the fact that it is not a part of the belt conveyor so its utilization is more universal.

Up-taking magnetic drum is designed for a separation of metal magnetic impurities from bulk, adhesive mixtures transported on conveyors. Up-taking magnetic drum benefit consists in a double aeration of the separated material.

Magnetic rollers

Magnetic rollers are designed for the separation of metal, magnetic impurities from bulk mixtures. Magnetic cylinders will replace existing end cylinder of the conveyor. It is suitable to be used also on places where downstream devices should be protected against damaging by metal particles.

Magnetic rods / Filter bag magnets

Magnetic rods are equipped with very strong rare-earth magnets. Due to the very thin wall of the covering pipe, resulting magnetic force on the magnetic pipe surface is 6,300 and 8,900 G! Using these magnetic rods you can make any magnetic separator by yourself!

Magnets to be installed into injection molding machine hoppers find their application especially in the plastics processing industry, in case that recycled or crushed materials are used. These magnets are capable of catching even very small metal dust particles. Easy cleaning!

Magnetic Separators

A magnetic separator is a device that uses a magnet to remove metal magnetic impurities from various mixtures, which can be bulk or liquid. Magnetic separators can be used before, during or after the production of material and they can be adapted to capture various types of magnetic materials at various intensity levels. Although they are almost always used in industry, magnetic separators can be used in a wide range of applications. Magnetic separators separate, by magnetic trapping, ferromagnetic and in some cases even paramagnetic metal impurities, and their size ranges from desk versions up to large, heavy magnetic drums used in recycling and other production applications.

Magnetic Separator Types

As the names indicate, automatic cleaning does not require manual work, while magnetic separators with manual cleaning do. We also split them based on what material they separate, whether dry or liquid. Dry materials include, for instance, grain, flour, poppy seed, sugar, salt. Liquid materials may include rinsing and degreasing emulsions, oil, syrups, chocolate, etc.

They are mostly fitted with ferrite magnets, but it is possible to also use more powerful neodymium magnets. The separator has doors on the sides which open, on which the above-mentioned magnets are installed, on which the separated metal particles to be removed are caught.

A single-sided magnetic separator for dry mixtures This type of magnetic separator is fitted with powerful neodymium magnets which enable the separation of metal magnetic impurities of various sizes. It has been designed so that the separation process can separate even impurities over 5 mm in size. Automatic cleaning works on the principle of a pre-set interval, in which the captured metal impurities are transferred to the other side into a side hopper.
